Perspective mirror and glass shows that we can never see ourselves directly.
It suggests that one has no choice but to look in directly through a mirror or through someone else. This piece consists of pair of a rectangular mirrors and a glass. And if you look closely, white dots are grided at half a centimeter apart on the surface. The galss refers to window that one can look outside(society), and the mirror for the inside(self)
Standing in front of the piece, one constantly looks at the inside and the outside through reflected (inside)self on the mirror. And an image of someone else over the glass. However, as you come closer to look into the details, you’ll notice that the more you’ll be drawn to the grids of dots. The figure in the mirror is not recognizable in its full from anymore and it pixelates into small grids that floats.
